I dont know much about the guitar other than it seems custom. I bought It from an elderly man from my church along with the acoustic and the banjo I have posted. From what I was told he got the guitar in Asia in the 1970s though I am not sure if that is where the guitar is from any help would be great.

I believe that these guitars were sold in the States as a Kent and Kay brands , built in Japan. Les Paul copy's. I believe your's to be a Kay.
thanks for the help I found out a lot about the guitar once I search for kay LP copy though it looks a lot like a roland gr 500.
might have left factory unfinished,,someone finished it themselves
