    This was a wonderful find.... It comes with all its original paperwork. I could only find 1 other known example worldwide.

      It'd be nice if you'd tell us more on it? Perhaps show it's original paperwork, at least? Age and where the pencil goes in? LOL.

      Hey Val, some tinkerer probably spent weeks figuring this out. I figured it out & it appears he made a new mechanism to solve each problem as they occurred & came up with a distressing whole. LOL ! I luv it !

      It sharpened a mean pencil that's for sure....my eyes, my eyes!!

      1886.. it has never been used. The belt is leather!!

      Like inventing a bottle opener with only 7 moving parts. Guy probably had a knife in his pocket the whole time he was designing this !
