I found these two items while cleaning out my mother's house. They look like some type of beakers, tumblers, or cups. They are about 4 inches and have a dragon wrapped around them. There is some oriental writing on them, and they look like they are at least partially brass on the inside and maybe silver on the outside. I am not sure what exactly these are. Does anyone have information about these or know what they were used for? Thanks

I agree that they are Chinese, but I doubt that they are silver....

Possibly part of a Japanese sake set made for export, with silver finish on the exterior and gold finish on the interior surfaces.

These were made for export during the late 40s, during the American occupation of Japan, when they did not have valuable metals to work with. The dragons are in the Japanese style with side view and 3 claws.
