I bought these 2 little I think porcelain figures at a yard sale they are stamped Japan on the bottom. It looks like the heads originally would have been able to swivel but the girls head has come off and the boys is glued in place. They each have a little hole in their back side and they stand about 4inches tall. I've nicknamed them Jack and Jill :)

All I can say is they were pretty cheap in the 1920s, and after the style of the "Frozen Charlotte" doll. Unjointed. With the damage they are keepers, and not really marketable in this condition. You'll get better information as the day goes on. I am not a "doll" person. Cute tho!

They are called Bisque "Nodder Dolls " as their heads moved when picked up . Novelty doll from around 1920-40's.
