As I did research on this, I found nothing to compare it to. Most Glass Fishing floats are finished with a glass button to seal and complete the sphere. This one has a tether piece on top of the button, used to pass a small rope through. Also inside the float, there is various glass that connects from one side of the globe to the other, I did my best to capture these aspects in the photos.

    Thanks for stopping by.

I've never heard of a glass fishing float Deano... Very unusual and interesting piece!

I checked my fishing float book dean and found nothing similar either.
The construction seems a bit OTT for a float - I wonder if it was made more as a decorative piece? Having the loop allows it to be hung which would look great in a garden.
