    Promotional ceramics, bought in the same shop as the character face Baker man. The smaller piece is what's called a desk tidy. The other piece is quite large and looks for all the world like a cookie jar. There is very little information on the web about these items. The Silver Crane Company is known for their tins. I've seen other Silver Crane pottery/ceramic items online, mostly made during the 1980s.

      Oh, I love these! Thought it was the real bottle at first glance... I used it when younger (!!!) with my old Parker pen :-)

      kyra, I was quite surprised when I entered the shop, turned the corner and there they were on the shelf. My gorgeous kaleidoscope vase came from the same shop.

      As Kyra said Bonnie, at first glance I thought these were actually bottles. It wasn't until I read Kyra's comment that I realized they weren't.... Very cool
