I bought these 2 tools together.
I don't think they necessarily have any great value, but am very curious as to what they were used for. Can anyone help me?

    Thanks

These are banana knives. Years ago grocery stores used to buy an entire stalk of bananas right off the tree, 3-4 feet long, having one- to two-hundred bananas on it. These knives were used to go inside the groups of bananas to slice off "hands" of as many bananas as you wanted. Today, in stores, we only ever see bananas already cut into hands.

Maybe where you live Ron ! LOL !! We go out in the yard & get them. Can't give them away when they are ripening because your neighbours are also giving them away. Good mulch.
