This glass an metal beer advertising sign was made by the California Brewing Company in 1895 and appears at the Society of California Pioneers, which I visited last week.
The company was founded by John and Henry Peters, C. Baltz, and A. Dittman in 1892. It was located on Douglas street between 17th and 18th.
The original California Brewing Company is now defunct, though there is a new one based in Redding, I believe.
