This pottery beetle or bug is a real interesting itemHe measures 6 inches long and the coloration and details on this creature is amazing .Im assuming that it is a paperweight.There is a monogram on the bottom that looks like 2 TT together but I'm probably reading it wrong.Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!!

It kind of looks like a cicada sculpture.
Couldn't find the artist.
AmatoorPikr is right - it's a cicada. I did an Image search but didn't find one like yours.
Very interesting, surely an early piece, confirm cicada!

Agree, probably French. Check Sicard for similar.
Long shot, but Grand Feu Art Pottery (1912-18) of LA Calif. used a "TT" mark on art ware. If that pans out, you have a most exceptional find.
