I found this oil in my grandfather's basement, It's Chevron RPM Outboard Oil package in Perth Amboy, NJ in 1963. They are 6 packs of 6oz cans and are unopened. My son and I both have boats with outboards on them, so I figured we wouldn't have to buy oil for a while, but when my son saw them he told me that they are worth money. He also told me that we weren't going to use them because we'd be crazy if we did, he showed me a few websites on Petroliana I didn't realize what a big deal collecting oil cans was. While searching the web we found out that unopened cans of oil were worth more and also for the most part rare. We couldn't find whole cases to compare ours to though, if anyone has any information for us about our find we would greatly appreciate any info at all. If anyone could point us in the direction to where we may find information such as what they may be worth and where I should try selling them. You can reply here or even email would be great Dawny572@aol.com. Thanks to All that can help us!
