My wife and I found this chair in a storage unit we won at an auction. We know it sits 6 feet tall, is very sturdy, hand carved, and mahogony. We also know the upholstery has been redone.
Any help with age or period would be much appreciated.
KIND OF LIKE A CAROLEAN REVIVAL HIGH BACK CARVED CHAIR
I believe its a reproduction, have seen a fair amount of them lately, though they usually have lions head on the arms.
