I recently found one of these in my parents attic... I believe it belonged to my grandfather. Can you tell me what this is worth? It is exactly the same as pictured here.... United States Army Transportation Corps 41....Thanks
Chris, a lot of things contribute to the price. Ex- rust, dust, dirt, paint chips, model number, does it work, are all parts intact, original box? It would be best for you to take it to someone in your town who specializes in Lionel trains, they could look it over and tell you what it's worth.
can you tell me approx how much this train set would be? book is dated 1948-1949. it has 2 pullman cars, 1 observatory, the front car, 2026 and the end car, which says Lionel lines. we have the bottle with the white pills, but the train set does not work.
