    I'm really curious about this teapot that my mom had as long as I could remember, from back in the early 1960's. I've never seen a teapot in this style anywhere else.

    It's about 9 inches tall and maybe 1-1/2 inches from front to back. It doesn't have any markings that I could find that might indicate a maker. The parts of the design with color have a semi-gloss glaze; the white parts including the 'cut-out' between front and back have a matte glaze.

      Thank you all for your kind comments. I'd searched and searched to identity its origin and I'm so thankful for Dizzydave letting me know.}

      And now I know why my Chinese neighbor ogled it while visiting!

      Dizzydave is quite right, I personally lean to believe it's made in republic era.
