    I recently purchase this machine and researched it to find out it was made in 1894. Surprisingly, it is powered by electricity, and it still works! It has an owl decal and came in a carrying case.

      That is a beautiful machine. Some were originally treadle machines and converted to electricity.

      Yes this lovely Singer model 15 with Owl decal was converted to electric and placed in it's current base at some stage in it's life - looking at the foot control, perhaps in the 1930s
