What are you wanting to know?
    2. Tucker10, 13 years ago
I would like to have some sort of an idea what it is worth. I have no clue at all. Wondering if I should insure it or what. Also, would not mind learning something about where it came from before I obtained it. I've searched online, but have been unable to find anything like it.

I just googled The Keyless Lock Co. that's on your picture. That may help you out a little. Why would you insure it if it's not yours yet? Someone can give you a value, but it's only worth what your willing to pay. Meaning I've seen alot of dealers say something is worth $$$$$$$$$$$ and it only brings$$. Do you understand what I'm getting at? I'm not trying to be a smart alec.

It is mine. That's why I'm trying to find out info on it. I obtained it over 10 years ago. I've googled the Keyless Lock Co. many times, but always run into dead ends.
I do understand what you are saying about being worth so much and only bringing so much. I just need to know whether it's worth 100's or 1000's.

What do you feel it's worth? I've seen them sell all over the place. Do you have all the brass mail boxes?
    6. Tucker10, 13 years ago
No, I do not have the mailboxes. I do have the GE fan that went w/ it and the postal scales.
      I feel it's worth a few 1000.

Some people place things on ebay with a high reserve, not to sell and get a free appraisal.
    8. Tucker10, 13 years ago
I would like to do that, but I don't want to do it w/out having a single clue what it might be worth. Be my luck i would really screw myself out of some money.

Put a reserve on it of 10,000.00, what do you have to lose.

You have an excellent point. I appreciate your advice. I think I'll try it. These days, it might get me a tank of gas or two!!

Go for it and good luck! :-)
