   well, I can tell you that I got a set of this Samsonite luggage for my high school graduation in 1952!! That dates me and the luggage. Good luck.

   Not worth a great deal. I sold a set of three at auction and got less than $20 after commission. They make wonderful accent pieces and hide-in-plain-sight storage. Maybe more $ in a shoppe.

   Excellent idea. I am sure it will mean more because it was yours. Maybe stick a little love note in one of the pockets so that years from now, when she is "unpacking" she'll find out how special she was to you!
