So this figurine has got a normal face but the body is really short and small for the size of the head. 2" x 2". Any ideas, theories, explanations, excuses, requests for a hall pass, are greatly welcomed. Thanks for looking.

Almost cute, not quite right. A baby faced seal? Hmm. Maybe it's supposed to be a swaddled baby pushing itself off the floor.

Bonnie, I thought of a miniature piano baby, too. The lady who sold it to me said there was a boy to go along with it, someone else bought it before I got to her table. :/

Scott, miniature piano baby was what came to mind for me as well, made in Japan by the looks of it. It has the pose for it but the proportions are wrong.
Body of a swaddled baby with the face and hair of a mature woman. Perhaps a contestant on Toddlers in Tiaras??? ????????
It's back side reminds me of Casper the Friendly ghost with a human face :-) I have a Dr's slip to pass to skip today lol
