Found these at the neighbor's estate sale. Appears to be carved horn (?). I know nothing else about them other than they are interesting.

I have got an exactly same figurine, as the one on the last picture and was thinking about posting it on CW. You beat me to it, lol

my memere and pepere had several very large and beautiful ones of these, along with many other gorgeous sculptures brought back from Africa in the 1930s and 40s from my uncle who was a White Robe Missionary in the Congo.

one of these days i'll get to my aunt and uncle's home up in northern New York on Lake Champlain where the majority of the collection is now.
ho2cultcha, I have been there...beautiful.
I have 3 of these myself. I love them and was told that they are Water Buffalo. I didn't notice that one of my had been broken and repaired till I got home. I was very disappointed but lesson learned!
shareurpassion, Thank you! My biggest disappointment was buying a Ronson art deco incense burner and realizing later that the knob on the top had been glued back on. If I could only find the seller!!!!
