Trunk measurements: 22" high, 34" wide, 20" deep. Has 4 small wheels on bottom. Materials include green canvas over wood. Corner protection and hasps are brass in color in some areas, however all the metal items are magnetic. I think it is stamped steel with brass plating. Leather corners and thick leather handle's.
I have seen a lot of similar looking trunks, none match exactly with this one. Really curious on age and manufacturer. Recently acquired and plan on keeping it for use as an end table.

Hello. Your trunk is an early 1900's (probably around 1910 or so) American made travel trunk. The corners are bound with Vulcanized fiber (which looks like leather) and yes, the hardware was brass plated steel. A fairly common trunk, but yours is all original with the tray and that is a plus, that most all trunk makers produced. Most trunks had casters on them. You will probably not find another "exactly" like yours as trunk makers had many different trunks in the same line with varying prices that only had small changes. However, you need to understand that you will usually only find photos of trunks that are for sale/sold and not the thousands that are in people's basements or attics.
      Hope this helps,
      Jim
