I've had this little gem for years, having been given to me by my mom, who had it for years, and where she got it from is a mystery.
I believe it was a German officers cup, and the inscription reads "We Germans fear God and nothing else in the world"!!
Germans back then were not known for their modesty!!!
I'm trying to find another like it, the use and possibly even the value for insc.
It is not a repro, and is quite heavy for a small cup, measures 3 3/4" high and 2 1/4" d
Any help would be much appreciated!!
