Hi Folks
Here is a Louis Vuitton I picked up at an auction. Its really hard to believe how much people will pay for these.
I honestly prefer a good old American trunk.

Hi Again bjb5859....I am just now getting around to looking at the images of your twin to my wonderful find; WOW is the word huh? I'd be really interested to know if the label in yours is numbered and whether you had narrowed the year down on it. Drill has given me some wonderful information on my trunk, allowing me to narrow the year it was made between 1876 and 1883. Without breaking any rules, I'd really like some advice on appraisal services as well as whether you think I would do better in an auction setting or one-on-one. We are so strongly motivated to turn it over as soon as possible as I live in South Louisiana/Mississippi (state line) where we have tremendous flooding all around us. Thanks in advance for any information you can throw my way, and please tell me if my comments are outside the box of "allowed". Thanks again.
