Shown is a pine pie safe, with the original green paint. The doors have six punched tin panels with a star design. The first finished tin panel would then serve as a template to make the others identical. Wooden pegs and square nails were used to hold it together. The top is a scrub top, with no finish, cut from one piece of lumber. The interior doors are painted a grey color, and the interior has three shelves. The wear on the paint shows years of use.
