E.A.M. (ELGIN) Sterling Silver child's belt buckle. Age unknown. Located while metal detecting 1930s school grounds after school was torn down.

Valentino, It's 1 1/8" x 1 3/4" to be exact. I assumed it was a child's because of the small size, do you know more about this buckle? I also noticed the scroll work on the face of it and the wave like patter, so not sure if there is also a nautical theme.
