I'd picked this hand knotted wool rug up at a local Flea Market a while back as I thought the graphics were interesting and the price was right. It got rolled up and put away a storage room and I'd never really looked closely at it. When I was doing some spring cleaning it got pulled out with a bunch of other stuff. I put it out on the lawn to air out and was moving on to other stuff when my 8 year old grandson asked where the Santa Claus rug came from. I had no idea what he was talking about so I asked "what Santa Claus rug"? He responded the one on the lawn. I then re-examined the rug (this time from a distance) and sure enough it is a Christmas scene with Santa (and I think his elves). I was hoping someone could tell me the best way to clean it(or have it cleaned) and also see if anyone could pass along any other information on it (age, rarity, etc. ). It's 33" wide x 46" long. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Regards,
Bill

I just bought the same rug and realized it's Santa! So bummed but laughing all the same. I'm curious about the history of it. Mine us almost identical but has some slight differences.
