    Purchased this table at Garage sale. Has no maker markings. It a wood roundtop table with beaded brass inlay on top. The table top sides are wrapped with brass decorative trim. What caught my eye is the base is entirely brass. Three brass legs,with woman body image, set brass basket at bottom. No matks. Any ideas? Please email hjerame2000@yahoo.com

      I'm reminded of the 'mensa delphica' .... an Ancient Roman form.

      I have seen these before, they are 20th century, late. They are characterized by the very poor detail on the womens face. That would not have occured had it been 19th century.
