I guess it's an old Indian knife and big fork, for either hunting or cooking. But it has been hanging around from around the early 70s. Not sure if I should clean it or not ?

Not Indian, as in American Indian - made in India. Big difference. It's a carving set, not a hunting set. Not uncommon, and were also used by military personnel back in the day.

Haha it's ok :) , ya I guess ur right carving and military sounds better.
But is it smart to polish it or just keep it as it is?
