The only thing I know about it is the guy I got it from had it for 40 years suposadly and he said it was in a fire when his house burned down. I tried finding info n found nothing except two that were similar. One was grecho Roman and the other was ancient egyption

I'll bet money that this is a souvenir from somewhere in the eastern Mediterranean area. This kind of thing has been made for nearly a century to sell to tourists. Real swords have iron or steel blades; not cast as one piece with the handle. The possibility that it is a bronze-age relic is vanishingly small. There is an extensive discussion of a similar piece on Andy White's anthropology blog under the heading "Swordgate."

I go with UncleRon, only because he beat me to it.

Thank you for your input, I will defiantly look into that. Do you think I got a decent deal? I only paid $40 for it

Agree it is a tourist item. It has no real collector value.

I think your money could have been better spent, but a $40 lesson isn't that bad-- we all have had worse!
