I never dreamt I would own a doll like this. She was one of three dolls in a lot on which I bid in an auction. She is 25" papier-mâché with glass eyes, leather arms and cloth body. I believe her clothes are original. You should see her pantaloons, and her socks look to be hand knit! She even has a bracelet (that look to be made of wire springs) on each wrist. I love her! Thanks for sharing in my enthusiasm!

She is wonderful ! and her clothes look original to me and correct to her time period 1850-1860 I would have jumped up and down to win her too :-)
