    Picked up this beautiful large blue Murano bowl today amounts Jumble items in Belgium.
    Excellent condition with 4 beautiful sterling silver ladies to base. R925 hallmark.
    Not sure where originally would have been purchased and has anyone else ever seen this design. It's beautiful, just not sure where to put it and what to use it for ????

      Hi Skippy,
      Your bowl is beautiful. I would guess a centrepiece.
      The hallmark R925 guarantees it is made of genuine sterling silver. The R stands for 'rivestito', Italian for 'covered'. The sterling silver is covered over a moulded something, in this case, I would guess the glass foot of the bowl. R925 guarantees the purity of the silver - 92.5% pure silver
