I bought this radio a while ago and it was in quite a mess and it was missing the dial glass. I had a friend that has the same radio so I borrowed his dial glass and sent it off to Radio Daze , and they made me a new one.. all the knobs and grill cloth are original. I recapped the radio , stripped the cabinet and applied all the toner and finishing lacquer. now it works very well.
It is an RCA globetrotter model A 31
