Posting this for Efesgirl so she can compare with her bargain find!
This belongs to my mum, my aunt and uncle brought it back from Mexico in the 1970s as a present for her. It has a brooch pin on the back and a loop so you can wear it as a pendant. It's stamped "Mexico TBM" and a symbol that I can't make out.
I'm not sure what the stone chips are, they're a dull green-ish grey colour.
Oh, there it is!!! Possibly made in Cuernavaca Mexico.
It's most likely turquoise ,as it also comes in green.
