    i found this desk at a yard sale i am trying to figure out what year it date to.i am pretty sure its made of oak. it seems to be well made just trying to figure out an age for it.

      You gave a good close shot of the dovetails, so I was able to measure & appears to be machine dovetails. That makes it post 1890's. The front writing desk seems to fold up to 90 degrees instead of an angle like a secretary. Doesn't really appear to be factory. I'm going to say 1900-1920. Interesting piece because of the angle of the writing piece.
