      Wrong Douglas Sneyd me thinks.
      "Doug has been a cartoonist for Playboy magazine since 1964."

      Acrylic only became popular in the U.S. in the 1960s.

      Thank you for the valuable comments. I was told that Douglas Sneyd painted for clients by the foot before he became a cartoonist. Could this be one of them?
