    This phone is interesting to me because I can't find any photos of another one like it. I have seen parts but not an entire, working telephone. It even rings. Obviously I can't dial out but I use it as an extension phone. I wish I knew more about it but am guessing it was used in a hotel etc. where an operator answered when the receiver was picked up.

      You have a Kellogg Switchboard & Supply Masterphone 900 series, it has the art deco design and was manufactured in the late 1930's. It could be used in homes and hotels for incoming or outgoing call as long as there was an operator.
