1880 Horace Waters No.56978 New Scale Cabinet Grand Upright Piano.

This piano has been in my family since the late 1960's and tunes played upon it are still recognizable. It is still in good condition and everything works. Prior to becoming a "member" of the family, it was used by a school. My parents retrieved it from the school when the school closed. I took lessons and practiced on this old girl as a child. By the dates penciled in on the inside, it appears to have been tuned usually in Nov. or Dec. which I assume was just in time for holiday entertainment. The current young members of our family have been known to give it a tickle when they visit. My mother refinished it using the "Antiquing" method in the late 1960's and has taken loving care of it every since. It is a beautiful piece.
