I purchased this piece of pottery several years ago because I had never seen such a large round piece of pottery like it , about the size of a stool seat and solid pottery with this old crackled green glaze ,I figured it must be a door stop or a very large paperweight! HAA!
It's a rare "Goon Rock" !

My best guess is still a door stop, Goon Rock sounds like an album title if I recall
Goon is a planet that hasn't been found yet because it can only be seen when nobody is looking.
