Japanese antique wooden chair, elaborately carved with an large bird/phoenix on the back rest. Arms of the chair are carved in the form of large dragon heads. Meiji Period (early 1900's). This came from the same estate sale as the Japanese desk posted earlier. They have the same paper stamped affixed with the same number, so I assume they were a set.
