Found this under a house. Research shows railroad and earlier woodwork. Anybody know anything about these or how old could be? I saw 1840-1850s. It weighs 8lbs. 18 in. Tool and 3ft long handle. I cant find any stamp. Help would be great.

This tool is called a pick mattock. As for it's age, that's hard to tell by the picture. The tool is still made today and have been around a long time.
      Check out https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mattock
or type in "pick mattock" in a google search and you can see the types of mattock and places that sale them.
