This generously sized covered urn in light blue Jasperware features the neoclassical sacrificial scenes that were popular in the era of Georgian design. This example is not especially old, but it is in perfect condition. Wedgwood made it in 1957, the year I was conceived. I hope nobody finds the thought to be morbid, but one day it may become my final resting place... hopefully many distant years in the future :-)

Well, since I don't wish to sound too gloomy...
      Q: What's a Grecian urn?
A: About 4 Drachmae per hour!
      Cheers,
      Bob

Better than being stuck in a coffin 6 feet under...all that money spent on a beautiful coffin that nobody will ever see again. Makes no sense to me at all. My grandma is in an urn shaped like a mausoleum and lives in my mother's den room. My stepdad is in another big urn and lives on the fireplace mantel.
      Mom is never alone.....lol!

Our Persian cat "Mauser" resides in a light blue Wedgwood heart shaped box... my wife would like a "Dancing Hours" urn. My mom's family is in New Orleans with a nice "house" in one of the local above ground cemeteries. I'm thinking they can send the urn down there and I can hang out with the ashes of the previous four generations ;-P

I think by that time, it won't matter to me very much racer! ;-P Bob
