    It's about six inches tall and nine inches wide. Appears to have 1962 and 5fa on bottom. My son gave it to me and was wondering who designed it.

      I think Morton made jars like this, in the same time period, 1950s and 1960s. You might find similar ones using the term tureen, like soup tureens. Good luck to you, what a nice gift from your son!

      Thank you. Another post suggested soup tureen but when I looked those up they had hole in side for ladle to stay in with lid on but mine doesn't have that. So not sure what its original purpose was
