Here is one for all of the military collectors out there! The hat has a business card on the inside in what seems to be a plastic sleeve for some type of driving/tour guide service in Jamaica. Does anyone know why this would be here? And on the back it seems is the name of the officer, his address, and how he can be reached through the military. Was this common practice? Also I would appreciate if someone can confirm this as being an Ensign Navy Officer Hat from WWII. If anyone can assist me on this cool. If not no big deal. Thank you so much in advance. Name and address in the hat is still done today.
He served in VPB-32 a Navy Patrol Squadron. They had that designation from OCT 44 until MAY 46. Here is a history on the unit:

Charles J Stang Jr served in the US Navy from 1942 to 1945. He was born in Sandusky, OH on Dec 25, 1919 and passed away March 25, 2010. The cover on the hat looks to be green. The Navy forrestry green uniform was used by naval avaition group.
