This is an 8" long coin bank train. It is heavy for the size, 1 pound, 13 ounces. I am not sure if it is brass, some other alloy, or even if it is vintage or modern. It is stamped "JAPAN" on the inside bottom. It has a screw that releases the two pieces to get the coins out. Anyone have any idea on a manufacturer or a ball park year?
