Hello there, I was wondering if anyone could help me to identify this lovely vase. It was acquired with other Whitefriars pieces and certainly has that look but the mark to the base throws me off, it's a round Pontil mark within a sort of moon like crescent. To me it has the typical Whitefriars texture and aubergine colour but I'm not an expert! Any help would be appreciated, & if it isn't Whitefriars then who could it be by! Many thanks!

I can see where you are coming from but I don't think WF.
      Check the catalogues:

I love the color and that bubbly finish Richie!

When you take your photos, do you have to rotate them once you download them? If you do, you need to actually save them once you rotate them. That might be why your pics come out sideways.

Thanks Rick55,I do too! Well I contacted collectors weekly about my pictures and they said it's a known problem when uploading pictures on your mobile phone rather than on a computer so that's the reason why for some of the rotated ones unfortunately!

Oh O.K. Richie at least you got an answer. I've had that happen to me periodically on photos I've taken horizontally instead of vertically or vice versa. I rotate them on my computer to the correct position but forgotten to save them that way. When I go to post them, they come out sideways again. I have go back to the photo, straighten it, save it, and then it comes out fine. I'm glad you got an answer, and hopefully they'll be able to fix the problem :-)
