    This is carved on a piece I have and cannot find any information on this emblem or family crest. It may mean nothing but wanted to see if anyone had any idea's? There is nothing engraved on the brass plate. Thanks.

      I'm leaning that it means nothing, if some minor royal could afford to have their arms placed on their furniture, surely they would have hired someone to render it better. Has that third world, I've never seen a royal crest in my life, but my boss said to make one based off a sketch he just scribbled, look to it.

      (And I mean that in the nicest, not stuck up sort of way it sounds) :)

      Where was it found ? Sort of looks like pineapple(s).

      It's actually carved on both ends of a barrel bar I have. It looks like 2 star of David crosses on the right lower portion of it. The rest is unknown to me. I put a picture of the complete item in this post.

      Noticed there is some hardware which was most likely recently added like before I got it in 1994 to keep the sides closed. The roller latch is nothing like any of the older hardware etc. It just doesn't fit the piece.
