I am not sure about this guy. I got him in a storage auction. His face has been damaged and repaired :( but his charm is still there. He is musical and his head moves while the music plays. There are no markings on him to distinguish creator. I am not sure of his age. he does have an old pin keeping his clothes on, making me think he is older. The painted face reminds me of an older time as well as his clothing. The turn dial on his back that you turn to wind up his music has an "S" on it.
I would love it if anyone had information about him. I have looked everywhere with no success and I want to value him correctly. Thanks!
Clowns totally freak me out.... but that is one cute clown!
I'm thinking he is older because of the wind up key. I swear I have seen that "S" on some old wind up teddy bears before. He was well loved that is for sure, very whimsical!
