This image from 1968 by Lee Conklin was used as the cover for Santana's first album, but the poster from 1968, roughly 14 by 21 inches, lists Steppenwolf, the Grateful Dead, the Staple Singers, and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band more prominently. Somehow, though, the image became associated with Santana. This particular offset, printed by Tea Lautrec Litho, is trimmed slightly at the top, and there are a few pin holes here and there, but I just love this old piece of paper.
