    Has anybody seen any of these? To my knowledge it is at least 100 years old or older. Has a lip on the top of bottle, can make out B & Co L2 on top of circle, K 20?? and on lower part looks like 1701.

      Anyone seriously interested in learning more about fruit jars needs the REDBOOK No 10 Collectors Guide to Old Fruit Jars by Doug Leybourne -- http://redbookjars.com/index.html

      Your jar is listed as a variation of the Redbook listing #184 -- it is an English jar -- it takes a glass stopper - the value is low as you do not have the stopper. With the stopper, the book says the value is $15-20.
