Over the past 6 months I have encountered two different signed Nailsea bowls. The signiature appears to be a script "YO" written in acid on the base. Nailea ware of this type is rarely marked and I am really curious what it means and if there are any other examples of this mark.
Only the largest bowl in the image of three has has the mark. The other two are unmarked.
I am assuming that it is a "maker's mark" and not a manufacturer's mark.
