Wonderful to view. Members agree it is a reproduction. Too bad--but looks sweet to display on my kitchen shelf. Be wary of paying too much but it is functional and looks so cool!!

That looks like a fake mark to me. Double check that backstamp against the backstamps on these pages. Your pictures are out of focus, so I can't see the mark clearly.

Here is one like yours , I wonder if they made repro's of these or there was just newer ones in this design ?

Sorry, but it was hard to tell - since it's the mark that's out of focus, that also enforces the fact that the mark is a fake and the piece is a Chinese copy. That info is mentioned on the webpages I posted. A proper mark should be crisp and clear.
Also, a genuine flow blue lemon squeezer from Victoria Ware looks much different.

The one shown here is a reproduction piece:

This platter is a fake from China:

On this webpage there is a very good example of a fake backstamp for VictoriaWare:

Also agree with Manikin about the piece looking far too new to be a genuine piece of Victoria Ware Ironstone.

I see two on eBay one over 50 One just under $40 Will they get that for a repro do you think? Thanks for the heads up!!

Lois - yes if a buyer doesn't do any research before plunking down that amount of money.

You're welcome! I do agree that is it a nice piece in and of itself and will look good on display.

I paid less than $3 for it, Goodwill.

Thanks, jsott0363 SO DO I. Funny thing is, I didn't own a juicer--now I do and I am not afraid to use it joyously. Ha ha! It will "feel good" using it, and it is made beautifully as you can see. It couldn't have been too cheap when made and originally, I saw a picture which has a sticker in gold, marked "Made In China"--so I don't think the idea was - to fool. (maybe just to make a pretty design copy. but in the wrong hands could be made to look antique.(That was not done to mine) It is durable and totally functional. Appreciate your input...AS ALWAYS!! Probably I should leave it on so as to let potential buyers know they are not buying an antique. Thanks again, Lois
