Hello Again Friends,
Here is another piece from the estate lot I've purchased. I am new at collecting cameo's and have been learning as I go along. This one has me stumped, The depiction looks more like a picture of a person than what you typically see on cameo's... Please Help! I would like to know more about this one. Thank you in advance.

Such a stark cameo but clearly well made, and in a gold frame.
I actually think this is very wearable now - almost modern.

No info on the web about this cameo that I could find. It almost looks like a personal sort of cameo - made from life. It's very interesting!!

This looks similar to the work done by Saulini but I am still not sure.
Love it -- When I looked at it - It kinda reminded me of my Cameo with the small rope twisted around the oval. I had mine tested and it is Gold. No makers mark that can see but it has been suggested to me that *Mine* looked very Italian. I had taken it to a small ( kinda similar idea ) AS LIKE THE Antique Roadshow, but they were professional people from Toronto area.

Not as accomplished as some perhaps, but it resembles cameo depictions of the painter Raphael when hatless.
